When I first read this, it really made me think about the difference between the 2 for the first time. And how important that difference is.
The only part I didn’t really get was trying to imagine what ‘worrying about being kind’ might refer to as I cant imagine why anyone would worry about being kind…
I am thinking that a lot of people won’t give clear feedback because they want to be liked
A true friend would offer feedback that was clear and true and ultimately kind
I think kindness and compassion can be a bit confronting sometimes
