I think that people waste a lot of energy pontificating on things that they have no control over and no certain information

We have an old joke here about:

The “man” of the house taking care of IMPORTANT international events and government policy as he nods over his newspaper

whilst

The “wife” takes care of MINOR things like the family, the money, the raising kids and maintaining relationships with friends relatives and the community.

For me

this is close to the core of P2P
